As a part-time English trainer, you provide courses in accordance with the pedagogical principles of LV Linguistics: focused on the specific goals and needs of your learners, and where applicable, their employers. You work with individuals as well as with small groups, whether in our center in Charleroi, online, or directly at the client's location.
Responsibilities
- Assess and document the language level of learners at the beginning of the training
- Deliver structured courses, focused on objectives and tailored to the professional context of each learner
- Ensure tracking of attendance, progress, and achievements throughout the training
- Design and adapt teaching materials according to the level and professional needs of each learner
Our essentials
- Native or near-native level English
- Experience teaching adults in a professional or corporate context
- Comfortable with digital tools for course management and learner tracking
- Valid work permit in Belgium
- Belief that each session should concretely advance the learner
- Ability to prepare lessons methodically while adapting along the way
- Comfortable in a structured and autonomous work environment
What will make the difference
- Experience in a business or professional environment (outside of teaching)
- Additional languages: French, Dutch, Spanish
- Good knowledge of online teaching platforms
- Experience in tracking learner progress and writing training reports
- A genuine curiosity about how adults learn and what may hinder them
- An interest in modern learning methodologies and their application in individual or small group sessions
